CYSC Northwoods Prayer Team/Discipleship Team Application

If you have any questions, please email northwoods@damascus.net Please note: If you are going to be in 10th grade in the Fall you will be applying for Prayer Team (exceptions can be made in coordination with your youth minister). We have limited space available for prayer team each week, additionally prayer team is a leadership track within the camp experience, meaning we will not be able to accept every applicant. If you are not accepted, we highly encourage you to consider attending the high school week of camp. Thank you for your interest!

Missionary Mindsets
The following 5 questions will be based off of the 5 “core values” of Damascus — we call them “the Missionary Mindsets”. These are: Jesus Centered, Mission Focused, Joy-Filled, Obedient, Toilet Plungers. The prompts are short answer — they are less about having the “right answer” and more about what do you think they mean to you and how do you try to live them?

I understand that serving with Damascus and CYSC Northwoods on prayer team/discipleship team is a privilege and I will adhere to the policies and procedures while at CYSC and live a life according to the teachings of the Church. Any conduct while at camp that breaches the policies and procedures will result in disciplinary consequence — depending on the severity could result in being sent home. (sexual misconduct, drugs or alcohol, inappropriate behavior with minors, vaping, profanity, bullying, flirting with other prayer team/discipleship team/campers etc.) By signing below you are agreeing to adhere to the attached code of conduct.
