The 216-acre tropical paradise—and home to the historic Vanderbilt Mansion—is one of the world’s most exclusive private island communities.

As CEO, I am at the helm of all Club operations. This includes overseeing and managing all member relations and activities, as well as all Club amenities. Among the Club’s offerings are eight dining venues, the Vanderbilt Mansion, the Fisher Island Club Hotel, a golf course, a tennis center featuring 18 courts, a full-service spa and fitness center, and two private yacht marinas, among other key assets.

As the home to the privileged global elite, members of Fisher Island Club expect unsurpassed luxury and service. I uphold the prestige and satisfaction expected by the Club’s hundreds of members by providing a superior level of quality and service amid the splendor of this iconic landmark favored among celebrities, sports stars and heads of state.

Throughout my career I have held positions with a number of esteemed properties and brands. Born into a family of hoteliers in Hamburg, I studied economics and hotel management, and by my mid-30s had acquired managing experience from some of the most recognized and renowned hotels across Europe and the United States. My experience includes management at the esteemed George V in Paris and the Four Seasons Pierre Hotel in New York City. Most recently, I was Vice President and General Manager at the distinguished Hotel Plaza Athenee in New York.

Today, I live in Miami and enjoy golf, tennis, yoga and listening to both classical and rock and roll music.
